What FAB deals did YOU find at Albertsons?
On the final transaction with the All detergent and the Shick razors I thought the promo read that the total of $30 must be reach after all manufactures coupons. Was your purchase a fluke or was there a misprint in the promo?
I also thought there was a limit of 4 “like” coupons in the same transaction. Am I missing something?
There is a limit of 2 coupons per transaction on the gel-packs. There is no restriction on All detergent or Schick razors.
Nevermind – I think I found the answer to my own question. By using the overage on the Shick and then purchasing the required $30+ in Albertson’s promo. items you were able to get the total so low. I can not find the Shick $2 coupon in the Everett Hearld Ads.
Albertsons catalina promos almost always read like that. However when you actually go to the store and try the transaction, in my experience doin several of these in the past year and the experience that these gals blog about, the register always kicks out the catalina just fine if you reach that $30 before coupons. Sweet huh?!
It does say that the $30 must be AFTER coupons but for some, it works before. At my store, I have never had it work before coupons and when I ask about it they tell me “So sorry…ad states that the $30 is after coupons” and send me on my way.
I would have gotten some cheap Frosted Mini Wheats with Fruit (My FAVORITE!) Until I discovered the two coupons I printed didn’t have scannable barcodes on them for some totally lame reason of which I don’t know. LAME
Walmart will take them if the barcode isnt there.
Which wal-mart do you go to? The one on 12th in Nampa is super super picky about coupons. I need to find a new walmart to shop at. I always make sure my coupons match but they will tell me that since it isn’t in the picture I can;t use it on the item even though the description includes the item I am buying. I hardly go there anymore even though there are good deals because it isn’t worth the hassle.
I use the walmart on garrity they are super cool, I’ve never had a problem there
My Walmart took them today too — no problems. Although I don’t know if it was the same coupon, imagine so, IPs, and no issues at all.

My Albertsons in Caldwell has the 64 count sensitive box clearenced out to $1.97. Use the $.50 coupon in SS of todays paper and a doubler to get them for $.97 each. I got 5 of them!
Megan – There was a coupon for $0.50 off huggies wipes in yesterday’s (1/15) smartsource. The wipes are on sale for $1.97 so if you use a coupon + a doubler they are $0.97. However, my albertsons also had the 3 packs bundled (72 ct in each pack) on clearance for $4.19. If you use the same coupon and doubler it’s $3.19….so close to the same price as buying 3 individual packages, but I only had to use one doubler so I could do more of the other GREAT deals this week at albies!
My Albertsons (Spokane South) had a clearance cart in the freezer isle full of snacks like fruit gushers, pop tarts, Emerald Breakfast to go and even some cereals — $1.00 each – and with the fruit gusher coupon doubled, I think that’d be free– I opted to use my doublers on the Celestial Seasonings Tea and Grape Nuts (which rarely are cheap)
i don’t coupon in a huge way, but I was happy to get $18.00 of snack foods for about $6

I got the No-Yolk noodles just to have them on hand, a free bottle of Ken’s and I had a coupon that the register spit out yesterday for a free box of Everyday Essentials pasta with $10 purchase. I had a pregnancy craving for sprite so I got permission from the DH to go over budget and buy some soda
I took advantage of the B2G1 free on the Pepsi multiple pack and had (1) $2/1 multipack coupon. They were marked 2 for $8 but rang up at $4.99 each so per their policy I got another pack of 6 for free. (I actually should have got 2 more packs for free but the shelves were cleared and I ended up getting the last 4 there was) I used a GC I had left over from my complaint to Albertsons about the gallon of curdled milk I bought a couple weeks ago and ended up only paying $2.69 for 2 packages of noodles, dressing, and (4) 6pks of 24oz Sierra Mist!
I didn’t get the activia coupon, I live east side of Boise and last week didn’t get the bic coupons either, its because my area? HELP!!!! thanks in advance
I’m in the same area and we didn’t get the Bic coupons. Think we got the Post Its coupons where most people got the Bic ones.
I wish my Albies didn’t have so many shelf clearers. I went today and hoped to do the P&G with All, Bounty, Kleenex, etc, and NOTHING was left!! Not a thing that was part of that promo was remaining in my store!!! Rather than hope more will come by Tuesday, I opted to use my doublers another way and scored 2 free Kikkoman soy sauce (Idaho Falls Broadway store had the tiny ones for $1.39, I believe).I also got Campbell’s tomato soups, Chef Boyardee raviolis, and found carts in the freezer aisle that had Christmas baking stuff marked way down, as well as other things.
i’d like to think that there aren’t a few shelf-clearers out there–but if several people pick up a few, then the shelf is cleared.
If your talking about Idaho Falls the warehouse was out earlier last week of a number of the P&G products I went to scope the Broadway one on Thursday and they were out of the ALL and Finish. Now they did get some more in on Saturday but not very much shelves were still more then half empty after the shipment came. Luckily i did get my items on Sunday morning although Quilted Northern was still out. But since the amount available was so limited after I and 2 others got our Finish i think they were gone again. (i bought 4 and the other 2 ladies bought 2 and 4 each.) And in the All there were only around 10 bottles left.
I still had Pillsbury coupons (lucky me) so I bought 18 boxes of Pillsbury brownie mix using my $1/2 coupons that doubled. I also got two tubs of the Land O Lakes butter and two 1.5 Liter bottles of Coke Zero. I only had to pay tax which was .98 cents!!! My store was out of stock in Finish Powerball tabs otherwise I would’ve bought a bunch of those.
I may be missing something with this exciting deal on the Finish dishwasher detergent deals at Albertsons but the coupon that came in my insert (ID) states “$2.15/1 Finish Quantum 25ct or higher Powerball or Gelpacs.” Please tell me how you are able to use this coupon on the 20ct that is on sale at Albertsons? It seems your picture shows the 20ct….

If anyone bought the Star Kist pouches last week and got the .50 off Bumble Bee catalina, I used them today on the Bumble Bee that is on sale and more catalinas popped out!
I did 3 P & G deals today- all were for under $30 when my coupons were factored in and all 3 printed the $10 catalinas. Here is one of my deals:

Today was the first day that I actually paid out ZILCH for my entire purchase and it was FABULESS!!
I bought, okay, so I didn’t really pay…cuz it was free…5 poms, 7 bottles of Ken’s dressing, 4 bottles of soy sauce, 5 flosses and 2 bags of organic cereal! And I scored the $2 catalina on the soy sauce (BONUS!) and also had enough points to earn and other $5.00 off preferred pass…Nice! Next week already have $7 banked for shopping
