Because of all of the amazing deals this week at Albertsons, we thought we had better clarify the new overage policy when using doubles. Unfortunately, Albertsons will not provide overage for products when combining TTV (doubles) and manufacturer’s coupons. Instead, they will adjust the price down to free.
It’s a bummer, I know! Originally, I too had dreams of the amazing $1.00 overages I could apply to the rest of my basket, but alas, it’s a no go!
Here is the clarification, straight from our Albertsons’ Corporate Contact:
“…if you use a TTV with a manufacturer coupon and together they exceed the price of the item, the item will just be free. Overages are only applicable when the manufacturer coupon alone exceeds the value of the item.”

not to upsetting to me……….that seems fair for the corporation……..I am just happy they are still doing doublers………on local news tonight, they talked of cutbacks and etc….I “hope” TTV are not an area they are doing cutbacks on
Last time they gave me the overage toward my other stuff….cashier must not have known the new rules well yet…
lI live in Montana, and we haven’t gotten any TTV coupons for at least a couple of months. I heard a rumor that we weren’t getting them any more. Does anyone have any idea who I can call to find out the status on this. I have tried calling the stores hear in town, but they claim that they don’t know any thing. Please help us poor Montana people.

I live in Colorado and we don’t get doublers. I have to fight with them on taking manufacturer coupons with a value over the sale price. They tried to tell me they won’t take them in that case! After a huge battle, they just manually entered the coupon for a lower value. Any ideas on how to avoid this in the future? They are always so rude and difficult, I only shop there if the price is worth the drama! I even tried to show them the coupon policy, but the manager kept telling me it was impossible to complete the transaction.
