  1. Can’t wait to get some good deals! Not sure about elsewhere but in southern Cali we got doublers in the mail today! Woohoo!

  2. I’m a fan of the Propel water but I hardly ever buy it. Now to figure out how to get on 13 different computers to print coupons (so far I can only think of 6)

  3. it says they are redeemable at publix. can they be redeemed at albies?

    • Yes they can. It doesn’t say “Only at Publix” so its just a suggestion.

      • Keep in mind that YMMV by cashier. They should take it, but sometimes Albertsons can be picky about coupons like this one. :)

    • I know that the albertsons on 12th and greenhurst in Nampa won’t take them… The cashiers actually get in trouble if they do.

      • If you look at the albies coupon policy they have available online, it states if the coupon has another retailers logo,it is considered a competitors coupon and will not be accepted. :(

        • Alyssa- I have never seen that in the Albertsons policy. Will you send me a link to that policy?

          • I am not sure how to insert a link…. I hope this works..

            Albertsons Coupon Policy
          • If the link didnt work, you can go to albertsons.com and search coupon policy, it is in general coupon acceptance guidelines and is the 9th bullet point down.

            • Alyssa-

I tried your link and it took me to a log in page. So I searched the site using the key word you suggested and coupon policy and did not find it. I thought maybe I had to be logged in to see what you were seeing so I logged in. No luck. I will send and email to our Albertsons contact to see if we can get a current policy. Thank you for pointing this out. We want to be sure we are recommending correct policies to the readers!

  4. Heather Jacks says:

The propel coupons state/print on them REDEEMABLE AT PUBLIX…bummer!!

  5. Bull’s-Eye BBQ Sauce $1

Is that for real? like the original Bulls BBQ Sauce for $1.00?

My family loooooves this bbq sauce!

  6. That link is not taking me anywhere. Any suggestions?

  7. Janet Masters says:

The tropicana coupon doesnt print a bar code…..can it still be used?

    • I did not blog about a Tropicana coupon in this post? I am not sure how to help. :(

      • I see the tropicana coupon on coupons.com that you must have printed. Mine did not have a barcode either. That is weird. We can not use it with out a barcode. We both should let coupons.com know about this problem.

      • Janet Masters says:

Sorry…one of the other gals posted that there was a Tropicana coupon and I was printing the Propel coupon and it reminded me of the Tropicana one :)

  8. I left a comment through the contact page: http://www.couponsinc.com/corporate/ContactUs.aspx

  9. Has anyone else been told by Albies and Safeway that they no longer take free coupons printed from the internet? Safeway also will not double internet coupons. I must have missed their coupon policy updates?

    • No store should take “Free product coupons” printed from the internet. Manufacturers do not even distribute them over the internet anymore because of fraud. They will send them in the mail or have their vendors hand them out.

      • I should have said the coupon I was using was the avacado buy 3 get 1 free that came out this week. I’ve never had problems before with BOGO printed Q’s before so I was surprised. Then they said they couldn’t double the Toll House coupons because I printed them. I had never had problems before so it was shocking. Guess I’ve been lucky so far.

      • Actually, not very long ago, Activia did distribute “free” coupons for their new Activia Selects Greek and French yogurts via their Facebook page. They were printables. I signed up for them thinking it would be mailed, but then it wanted me to print this bizarre-looking coupon. I doubted anyone would accept it, but I don’t know for sure. Anyway, it wasn’t BOGO–it was just for a free yogurt, and it was a printable.

        • Oikos yogurt did as well. I didn’t print the Activia or the Oikos because I know stores don’t accept them. :(

  10. what do you guys think about the new preferred rewards card at albies??? I wonder if the amount spent is going to be pre or post coupons.

    • I have heard it is pre-coupon.

      • I did a scenerio today that was 20 before coupons and only 13 after coupons and it did not give me the catalina, they told me to go to customer service and at the service desk they told me my total after coupons was not over 20 so no cat!  :(

        • Total bummer! Has this happened to anyone else?

          • Meridian Mama says:

I also had problems with the cat on Friday. Had 3 transactions and the first one (Pampers & Propel) didn’t generate the cat & the cashier thought it was because the total was under $20 after coupons. I wanted to add 2 propels at the customer service but she just said she’d ring it up without using the Pampers coupon so the total would be over $20 and still no cat… Normally they know how to generate a cat but it wasn’t working at all, so they just gave me a $5 in cash.

Second transaction was like that too, total under $20 and no cat but since it wasn’t working either way they just gave me another $5 discount.

Third transaction my total was waaaay under $20 (I think just over $10 since I had 2 coupons for free Pantene) and the cat printed…go figure!

So it was very confusing and I tried to explain that even though the wording says “total after manufacturer coupons are redeemed” it’s always been before coupons, at least so far… I was polite about the whole thing & they just adjusted it but who knows, maybe changes are coming… If it becomes $20 after coupons I have no problem switching to that (even though that means we’ll save less in each transaction) but there should be consistency. And I guess I should point out that I’ve had very few problems with the P&G cats over many months, usually works great…

        • I bought 7 quaker oatmeal square cereals, which brought my total to $20.93. I didn’t have any coupons with me (gasp… it’s embarrassing to say that!) but it still didn’t print out my $5 Cat. I think there is something wrong with the promo. But fortunately, the cashier was cool and just took $5 off my next transaction.

    • can you go into more detail? not sure what you are talking about.

    • Teresa Scott says:

What new preferred rewards card for Albies? I’ve not heard of anything new…

  11. I’m looking at the ad online right now. For the P&G promo, I noticed 2 things:

    1. States total has to hit $20 after coupons
    2. States Limit 2 per transaction.

Could I do $40 worth of stuff and get 2 – $5 cats?

    • If you buy $40 worth you normally will not get two cats. I have never seen it say limit two per transaction, so maybe it will give you two? Anyone tried it? Normally if you spend $20 before coupon your catalina will still print. :) Anyone done it this week yet?

      • I tried a $20 before coupons scenario and it worked! Spent 14.96 out of pocket and got $5 cat.

Then I used that cat to pay $14.96 out of pocket for 10lbs of chicken breast.
