Ha ha! Good catch!

This isn’t Albies related, but right now on groupon there is a Dormzy.com $50 for $25. You can buy all P&G items and pay $25 and get a $20 rebate!
great tip Jessica!
Is the meat $5.49/lb or for one roast/steak?
per lb
I read that the P&G promo considers the total AFTER coupons. I know it doesn’t always end up working that way, so for the contest are we calculating the $30 before or after coupons?
Oh Erin- sorry for the delayed reply. My email has been filtering out the blog comments this week for some reason so I am just seeing your question. I see that you did submit your scenario though. We are going through them now.
ps we are counting the after coupon price since that is always the way it seems to work despite what the crazy ad says.

P.S. I took a picture of my haul… let me know if you want me to email it to you.
P.P.S Just so you know… I don’t actually buy the Sunday paper… I dig thru the recycling bin for all my coupon inserts.
Thanks for breaking it down! I will be taking this email w/me.
I am trying to enter the best deal. Today I went to Albertsons and bought two Gillette Power Fusion razors, two bottles of Pantene Shampoo and two 12.6 oz. bottles of Pantene conditioner and I used the following coupons (2) Power Fusion razor @ $4.00 ea, (1) $1.00/2 off Pantene and 2 BOGO coupons for any Pantene 12.6 oz.. With my sub total at $33.00 and with my coupons the total with tax (out of pocket) was $20.02 and then I got my $10.for the gift mall. For 6 items my total then was $10.02. What a deal for Christmas presents.
Mavis, wasn’t your total at the beginning $31.49? 3.50×8 is 28 plus 3.49 is $31.49.
No. I forgot to mention that the cover girl eye shadow is on sale for 30% off. It is automatically deducted. 8 shampoo & conditioner $28, Eye Shadow $2.45 after discount.
Sorry about the confusion.
I read on another blog that there is a $3.00 catalina on the covergirl makeup when you spend $10.00. Makes it an even sweeter deal!!
I also read in the Albs add that the $30 has to be reached after coupons. Is this really the case?
I had this same issue with the $15/5 medicine promo from a few weeks ago and the store enforced it and the catalina didn’t print. Fortunately, the checker was gracious and forced the catalina.
I might not do this deal if the $30 has to be reached after coupons.
It worked for AJ!
I had some $1/3 Pop Tarts coupons and a $5 catalina from a prior purchase that were expiring yesterday, so I decided to use them and buy some Pop Tarts, which are on sale for 3/$5 at Albertsons this week. I bought six boxes for $3 oop. I considered buying 12 boxes because I had 4 of the $1/3 pop tart coupons, but the additional 6 boxes would be $8. Not a terribly bad price, but it seemed excessive, so I limited myself to 6.
Then, to my surprise, a $4 catalina printed out! So, I then caved and went back for 6 more boxes. I used the other two $1/3 pop tarts coupons plus the $4 catalina, for a total of $4 oop.
So, $7 for 12 boxes, or $.58/ea. Not a bad deal for a year’s supply of pop tarts. Well, unless we pig out and eat them every day. My kiddo loves pop tarts, but I normally only buy them occasionally as a treat.
I can’t remember where the coupons came from. I can tell you that they were internet printables tho. They have been from the Kelloggs website.
You are halfway there to qualifying for this rebate: http://fabulesslyfrugal.com/2010/11/your-ultimate-holiday-guide-coupon-booklet.html
Great job! Keep your eye out for the rebate. If you do not find it email me and I will send you one of mine I have two and won’t need both.
