I went to Albertsons today because I wanted to see exactly what cereals are included in the Kellogg’s sale that we told you about on Tuesday. More importantly, I wanted to know if the cereals in the catalina deal were included in the sale!
For all you newbies out there, this is how it works. You’ll want to understand what a catalina is (not the salad dressing), and what doubles are, and how to print a coupon!

USE: (2) $1.00/3 ANY10 oz or larger Kellogg’s Cereals (print it twice!)
USE: (2) Albertsons Doublers
USE: $3.00 catalina you just received
PAY: =$4.28
RECEIVE $4.00 Catalina (because you purchased 5 or more)
USE: $1.00/3 any Kellogg’s Cereal from 2/7 RP (sorry Idaho, we didn’t get it, you can find them on eBay)
USE: (2) Albertsons Doublers
USE: $4.00 catalina you just received
PAY: $3.28 for 6 boxes of cereal {or $.55 each – plus tax}
RECEIVE $4.00 Catalina (because you purchased 5 or more)
Here are the final #’s:
16 boxes of Kellogg’s Cereal for $12.08 (plus tax)
$4 catalina (aka: Albertsons Cash) in your pocket
Like Spending $8.08 for 16 boxes of cereal (if you factor in the catalina)…
$.51 per box!
That is my personal price point for cereal!
