Pringles Can Kaleidoscopes
We still had a couple of Pringles cans lying around, and since the kids enjoyed making the wind socks, we decided to use them to make Kaleidoscopes.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
Pringles cans
mirror paper ( I used a sheet of magnifying paper from the Dollar Tree instead)
Sharpee markers in various colors
Paper or stickers to decorate
scissors
tape
DIRECTIONS:
Cut 3 equal strips of mirror paper. Â Tape together to make a prism.
Decorate cans and lid of pringles can.
Poke a hole in bottom of can with a screwdriver and hammer.
Drop prism into can.
Check out the fun colorful designs!

Jennifer, I believe they sell it at any craft store, like Michael’s or Hobby Lobby. I found a magnifying sheet at the dollar store that was thin enough to cut, and just used that instead. It worked just fine 🙂

Just made these with my daycare kiddos and they turned out great but I did a alteration to the directions. Instead of cutting the mirror paper (used dollar tree magnifying sheets) I just rolled it up with the smooth side facing inwards then inserted into can and it works great. Kids can actually see more of the colors and much less work!!
Thanks for sharing your experience and tips, Nancy! Glad it worked out well for you!
