5 DIY Sewing Projects for Babies

1. Mary Jane Baby Girl Shoes
What You Need:
2 coordinating fabrics (small amount of both)
Fusible interfacing-very lightweight
Small pieces of Velcro
Mary Jane Baby Shoes Pattern Pieces: 0-6 months or 6-12 months
2. Baby Triangle Quilt
What You Need:
*1/2 yard each of 6 different cotton fabrics
*1 1/2 yards fabric for back
*1 1/2 yards batting
*binding tape
*Triangle Quilt Template (If you can’t print it, the top is 5 3/4″ and the two sides are 8″)
3. DIY Pacifier Clips
What You Need:
ribbon
suspender clips (available at fabric stores)
Fray Check (optional)
Velcro
4. Diaper and Wipes Case
What You Need:
1/4 yard or a little less of 2 fabrics (I used fat quarters, you could use just a normal 1/4 yard)
Velcro
5. Baby Bloomers
What You Need:
sewing machine
thread
pins or binder clips
scissors
1/2 yard fabric (knit preferred for ultimate comfort; woven or quilting cotton works too)
1 yard fold-over elastic
