DIY Color Hair Gel
Have you ever noticed that when you are looking for something
in particular you can never find it?
That happened to me this week. Â I was in need of some green hair gel.
My Son’s school was celebrating Dr. Seuss and reading with with themed days.
One of those day’s being crazy hair day and wear green.
So we thought why not do some green spiked hair!
I set off to the store to look for some, I came up empty.
After coming  up with nothing I thought I just needed  something for the day…
I bet I could make my own.
I did some research and went to the one store I knew would have what I needed, The Dollar Store! 🙂
Here is what you need:
~Hair gel {I just used what I had on hand, some LA Looks from couponing 😉 }
~ Eye shadow in the color you need {that I picked up at the dollar store}
The process is so easy! Â Lets get to mixin’!
First squirt some of your hair gel into a bowl for mixing
Take a knife and scrap the color of eye shadow into the bowl
Stir that together. Â You may have to add more hair gel depending on how much you needed
or
add more color depending on how bright you want the color.
When I put it in my son’s hair I put it in my hands and kind of stirred it a little more before adding it to his hair.
He has really dark hair so you can’t really see it in the picture but it is tinted green.
I think this would work really well for lighter hair or if you are in a pinch like I was.
So get to mixing! Â Grab that 80’s make up and have some fun! 😀
