Camping Tip #1 : DIY Lantern

diylantern

We love to go camping, but sadly only seem to go a handful of times a year.  I do love anything that can make camping that much easier though.  My husband came across this list of camping hacks, and I decided to give a few a try, pre-camping, in order to see how well they actually work.

We always take our headlamps instead of flashlights, as of course, they are hands free!  We usually have jugs of drinking water frozen in our cooler, or just on hand for extra drinking water.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Gallon Milk Jug of water

Simply attach your headlamp inside out on a jug of water, and you have an instant lantern!
