Do you know if you can price match at watmart for the items that Staples has for $0.01? I just cant see walmart doing that but thats the only store we have around us. Thx.
Yes, you should be able to do it! Keep in mind that if the Staples is too far away the CSM may not let you do it. I’d check first if I were you. Good luck!
I tried to price match paper at Walmart yesterday and was denied because the Staples ad says that its a rebate to get the price down to .01
Sadly, that’s true 🙁 The original comment was from 2013, and there were items on sale for a penny without a rebate, which walmart would have matched. but because it’s a rebate (also rewards, etc) to get to the penny price, they can’t.

Hi! The last column that has the lowest price of 2012, is that price for the store that you have the best week price? Or is that just the lowest price that was found last year?

Lowest price of the whole BTS season.
I remember buying notebook paper for $.25 last year. But I cannot remember where so I am wondering if I should go ahead and buy now or hold out for the $.25. Does anyone remember if it was Wal-Mart that had it for $.25? Thanks
If you have a Fred Meyer or ShopKo, they always have them $.20 each in August.

Just so everyone knows, the “single” glue stick at Walgreens is actually the 2 oz jumbo size. I bought it today, required for the 6th grader on my list.
I was curious when each week the list is updated? I was hoping to get some shopping done yesterday while out running errands so I put it off to today. I’m getting ready to head out the door but I haven’t seen it yet, so I just thought I’d ask. I know it takes some collaboration, and coordination to get it all ready for us. So Thanks! 🙂

Yep, Cathy is right… All the bloggers are supposed to have their info in Sunday night, then we have to do some magic to it Monday morning before it’s ready to post (think condensing all 15 stores into one list). However, most of the store lists are actually updated Sunday, and you can find all those here: Back to School Deals

Office Max has a coupon for Sharpie Highlighter 4 pk on page 2 of their ad for free. No purchase nec. Coupon reads limit 2 per coupon, limit 2 coupons per customer. I just left there with 4 free 4pks paying nothing, I also picked up the mechanical pencils 24 pack for $1!

I need to buy a lot of gluesticks this year. The lowest I’ve been able to find them so far is .25 cents each. Do you think they will go on sale for cheaper than that in August? Last year I stocked up when they were .10 cents each.

Thanks for the helpful info on different stores. I noticed that several deals I found at Fred Meyer this week beat the others on the guide(10 Ct Pencils $0.49, Pencil Box $0.69, 6 Ct Elmers Glue Sticks $1.99)… Is there a reason FM is not included in the price guide?

Hi there! Great list! I wanted to mention that Walgreens has the Ticonderoga Pencils (my favorite!) 10 pack for .99 this week. Also, Costco has them in a package of 96 for 9.49 ish? I can’t remember the exact price but I know it was under $10 (which is cheaper than they have them online). Also, if anyone loves those Rubbermaid Lunchblox containers as much as I do, Costco has a 3 pack (2 sandwich kits, 1 salad kit) for 13.99 right now. That’s only about $5.18 per kit after tax (washington tax – and remember Costco charges tax on the price BEFORE instant rebate)
