String art is easy to do, and cheap too! All you need is wood, nails, a hammer, and stink load of string! Also, string art is SUPER kid friendly! My teenage girls made these at girls camp, and my 9-year-old made one in his 4th-grade class and gave it to us for Christmas! It was a lovely homemade gift.
