1. Easy DIY Beer Bottle Opener 

If you want a hangable DIY bottle opener and you don’t mind the wooden look, this craft should suit your needs. I love the cup feature at the bottom that catches the bottle caps.

• A piece of scrap wood
• A bottle opener (you can grab at your local hardware store)
• Pipe strapping
• Small 4oz mason jar
• Drill/screws & picture mounting hardware
• Optional spray paint

• A regular old nail
• Two small magnets

This bottle opener basically combines the features of #1 and #3. You can hang it, it’s got a nice wooden backboard, and it’s got magnets to catch the falling bottle caps.

You will need:

• Small wood plaque
• Wall-mounted bottle opener
• Neodymium magnets
• Liquid Nails
• Drill
• 1″ Forstner bit
• Wood stain
• Polyurethane
• Ruler

5. DIY Wall Mounted Beer Bottle Opener

Last but not least, a nice and fashionable wall mounted bottle opener. This one can be coated with chalkboard paint which allows you to write fun messages on it!

You will need:

• Wall mounted bottle opener of your choice
• A piece of wood to mount it to
• Clear polyurethane OR chalkboard paint
• Additional screws for mounting
• Chalk
• Beer can (drink the beer first!)
• Can opener with rotating dial
• Sandpaper- 120-220 grit depending on how smooth the wood is.
