What is your stock up price for flour? When and where do you get it?
I normally buy flour at Costco in bulk 50 lb bag. Right now at Costco it is .21 /lb. This Albertsons deal works out to be .20/lb which beats what I normally do.
Wow! And what do you store 50lbs of flour in? Looking at this price I may stock up for a few months but not sure what to use to keep it good.
you can store your flour in the freezer to lengthen shelf life.
I store mine in five gallon food grade buckets in my pantry. I also freeze what every doesn’t fit.
The Arrowhead CAT isn’t printing. I tried it last week and the two Nampa Albies haven’t seen this CAT.

Yep. I actually bought 2 24 packs and got a 2 CAT. I did it two times. This was at 5&O. I wasnt expecting it but the cashier knew what it was because it had been printing for other people as well. Unfortunately, it did not say the details or dates on it though.
I tried it out at tenmile and cherry- no catalina printed.

was at the eagel albertsons last night doing doubles and saw a huge display of gold medal flour. attached to each of them was a $2 coupon for baking morsels. I didn’t get a close look because it was late and I was in a hurry. Anyone else see these or have details?

Albies at 10mile had .50 off betty crocker cookie mix pouche coupon on the flour which makes them .49.
So ,I just went and bought some to see what the peelie was. There was a $1 of 4 bags of Hershey, reese’s, or Heath baking chips with purchase of 5lb flour and a $1 off 2 5 lbs of sugar with purchase of flour. A little birdie told me the Choc. Chips will be on sale next week. Hopefully the flour will be too again. Totally excited because I am in need of sugar and chips.

I found some 1.00 off 1 coupons for Peter Pan Peanut Butter here is what the listing says “You are bidding on 10 Coupons

The bar code starts with a “5″ which means they can be doubled or tripled
They do have the “Food Lion” Emblem on them, However NOWHERE does it state it has to be used at Food Lion. These are legit MFG Coupons that will scan anywhere.”
They were 10 for 4.44 incl shipping which would make the Peanut Butter .44 cents each. If Albies won’t accept them because they say Food Lion I have time to wait for a roll back at WalMart.
Will Albies accept them if they are MFG coupons but have the “Food Lion” emblem on them?
Hmmm, it’s going to be hit and miss with that one. I’m pretty sure they’ll consider it a competitor coupon (may depend on your store/checker). You could try, and if it doesn’t work, go ahead and just use them at Walmart, like you suggested.
Albertson’s will not take Manufacturer’s coupons from the Target site that have the Target symbol on them, even though they clearly state that they are manufacturer’s coupons. Just a heads up in case that helps you make your decision!
But will Walmart here in Boise take the coupons if we don’t even have a Food Lion in the area? Just wondering.
They claim to take ANY coupon…
Just got back from doing the soda deal. The Fanta sodas had a $2/2 coupon. So I bought 1 Fanta, 2 Bargs (also listed on the Fanta coupon). I used my 3 $3 off soda coupons from the Chex mix along with the $2/2 Fanta coupon and only paid $1.72 after tax for 3-12 packs and a box of Ritz crackers! Thank you for all your hard work!

They were peelies on the Coca-Cola boxes. Mostly the Fanta boxes but I saw them on several other kinds as well.

does anyone know if the deal on the Gold Medal flour is for both the regular all purpose and the unbleached? I was in a hurry and it looked like the unbleached was $1.49 and the regular (bleached) .99 cents if I bought 6….but I’m wondering if they just didnt mark both?

they will only give rain checks for the “6″ so make another trip in and get another rain check if you want more than 6. then you can get 12 or more…

Just to let everyone know I went to the pepperidge farm website and found coupons for 1.00 off some of the products that are listed here to bring the savings down even more.
I happened onto a fabuless deal the other day with the cake mixes and frosting. It’s only because I had a rain check though from the previous cake mix sale a little while back. The really good thing about the deal was that it kept discounting for every 6 items I bought. ( I wasn’t counting on it, but was so glad it worked!)
My husband’s family does food storage gifts for his siblings (9 of them) for Christmas, so I thought I would do cake mixes and frosting this year.
So I ended up with 75 items for $2.08. It. was. awesome! I had purchased some coupons on ebay and then had some bisquick that I had rain checks for too. I had a $5 cat. Even without the $5 cat, it would have been 7 cents an item. I think I paid 3 cents an item in the end. My cashier was so excited for me.
Thank you for all of your hard work and now I have some awesome gifts for Christmas that are even name brand (betty crocker)!!!
