Easter brings a lot of opportunities for crafting. Since Easter colors are typically vibrant and bright, the crafts you get to make usually follow that same pattern. That means you get to decorate the house in fun colors, dye eggs, and enjoy the warm new spring weather at the same time. You can also get the kids involved in some easy Easter crafts that include working with paper, cotton balls, paint, and other affordable materials. Since decorating Easter eggs is a BIG part of Easter, we've tried a few different dyeing methods and found that they all give different effects on the eggs. For kids, the most fun and interactive method is to dye the eggs with melted crayons. This gives a really cool effect on the eggs and allows your kids to experiment with different color combinations (they'll also really like this kool-aid egg dye method). We also highly recommend making marbelized eggs with shaving cream as the end result is really amazing! For your Easter decorations, although you could buy them from the store, it's a lot cheaper (and more rewarding) to make them yourself.
