5 Cool Ways to Upcycle Books

Don’t know what to do with your old books?  Why not turn them into something new and useful.  Here are 5 cool ideas to upcycle your old books.

1.  Book Planters

You’ll Need:

1 Vintage book
2-3 small succulents
Little bit of potting soil
1 exacto knife
Parchment paper or plastic bag
White glue
Dry moss or ground cover

You’ll Need:

Foam Wreath Form
Recycled Book Pages
Lots of Hot Glue
Ribbon to Hang

You’ll Need:

hard cover book at least 1″ thick
magnetic snap kit
lining fabric that coordinates or compliments with book colors
heavy weight interfacing
X-Acto blade
fabric scissors
marker
hot glue gun

One lamp stand or table lamp
Lots of books (preferably paperbacks)
