Fabulessly Frugal Blog Editor & Manager Extraordinaire:

  • Seeking: (1) Blog Editor & Manager
  • Time Commitment: Part time (10-15 hours per week)
  • Equipment Needed: a solid internet connection and dependable reliable computer/laptop
  • Compensation: hourly rate negotiable – paid as an independent contractor
  • Commitment: flexible part time hours

Must Haves:

  • Stable reliable internet connection and computer
  • A positive attitude and energy about you as a regular attribute you possess.
  • The ability to work independently in a virtual office space
  • The ability to quickly learn in the online space. Some assignments will require you to figure out the most efficient way to complete the task.
  • Know your way around the backend of wordpress
  • Fierce loyalty. Impeccable integrity. Always dependable. These values are non-negotiable and aren’t something you “learn” to be. Skills can be trained, values can not.
  • Exceptional follow through in a timely manner. Once it is yours, it’s yours.
  • An eye for design and photo quality

Opportunity:

Build out and manage editorial calendar:

  • Produce, assign, and update high quality, SEO optimized content, specifically in the categories of DIY, finance, and lifestyle.
  • Research new content ideas.
  • Refresh older and underperforming content
  • Being the “voice” of the content, speaking to the Fabulessly Frugal audience
  • Review every blog post that is published each day (one blog post M-Sat, scheduled for 6am MST)
  • Work with recipe creators and review images/notes to produce 500+ word recipe post
  • Update holiday button and hubs

Oversee and maintain the front page of FabulesslyFrugal.com

  • Ensure all images on the front of the blog represent our brand well and are clean, crisp, and classy
  • Review content for quality submitted by authors & brands.
  • Communicate clearly and timely with authors about changes needed, schedules, and upgrades to images
  • Work closely with our Advertising Manager as well as the CEO
  • Edit photos submitted by authors and brands when needed
  • Be willing to suggest changes or improvements needed to make FabulesslyFrugal.com homepage more user friendly and enticing. Your feedback and ideas are desired.

Fabulessly Frugal Advertising Manager Extraordinaire

  • Seeking: (1) Advertising Manager
  • Time Commitment: Part time (approx 15-20 hours/week)
  • Equipment Needed: A solid internet connection and dependable reliable computer/laptop
  • Compensation: TBD
  • Commitment: Must be attentive to deadlines; on occasion may have to check and respond to emails on the weekend or evenings

Must Haves:

  • Experience with Affiliate Marketing preferred
  • Experience with WordPress not required, but a plus
  • Experience with Trello preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Proficient writing skills, spelling, and grammar
  • Proficient in the Gmail work space
  • Tech savvy… although you will be fully trained, it is good to be a person who has the ability to “figure things out” in this position

The Advertising Team Manger at FabulesslyFrugal.com:

  • is the main point of contact with all advertisers and affiliate mangers who wish to collaborate with FabulesslyFrugal.com,
  • negotiates and signs contracts on behalf of the company
  • manages an inbox that receives 100+ emails per day
  • communicates deadlines, content requirements and keeping all contracts in order for the advertising content team via Trello.
  • pitches creative ideas to different affiliate companies, sponsors, and amazon sellers
  • submits all information to the appropriate channels, and on occasion, pulls stats from different affiliate networks
  • reviews all sponsored content for accuracy and gives clear and concise feedback to writers if the content doesn’t meet expectations
  • analyzes affiliate reports and provides direction to the team with clear changes to implement when necessary
  • is quick to respond and communicate to the team, the CEO, and advertisers
  • is an independent contractor

Fabulessly Frugal Deal Hunter Extraordinaire:

  • Seeking: (2) Part time deal hunters
  • Time Commitment: our deal hunter spends 60-90 minutes per day, 6 days per week. Note: this role is split between two people, so you will only work 3 days per week.
  • Equipment Needed: a reliable phone, but you might find it to be faster if you work from your computer.
  • Compensation: you will be paid as an independent contractor a flat monthly rate. The more efficient you are with your time, the more $ you make per hour!
  • Commitment: you will be required to work longer hours before, during, and after Black Friday week (compensation will increase), including Thanksgiving day (we work in shifts so you will have time to completely unplug)

  • Time: this is a seasonal position and there is no guarantee of a job after Jan 1, but if you prove yourself invaluable to the team, it is quite possible we will keep you on the team long term.
