Spread some peanut butter on one side of a slice of bread, spread jelly on one side of another slice.
Cover the bread to make a closed sandwich.
Next spread some butter on the outside of the sandwich.
Then place the sandwich buttered side down in the air fryer basket, spread some more butter on the unbuttered side.
Air fry at 400°F/204°C for 4 minutes. Then flip over with a kitchen silicone tong or spatula. (Press down on the sandwich with spatula if you'd like to be more cirspy and thin). And air fryer for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sandwich is golden brown to your liking.
Serve and enjoy.
