19ouncepackage frozen Johnsonville Mild Italian Sausage slices
1medium green pepperthinly sliced
1medium red pepperthinly sliced
1medium onionthinly sliced
2garlic clovesminced
1tablespoonolive oil
14.5ouncecan of diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano
¼teaspoonred pepper flakes
Instructions
In a large skillet, saute the sausage, peppers, onion and garlic in oil until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
Add tomatoes and pepper flakes. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until heated through.
Serve on Hoagie or sub rolls or with rice, if desired.
TO FREEZE:
Chop sausage, garlic, and vegetables and place in a gallon size freezer bag. Combine the tomatoes, pepper flakes and combine them in a sandwich bag to be placed with the vegetables inside the gallon size freezer bag.
To PREPARE:
Remove from freezer, defrost and stir fry for 5 minutes or until heated through.
