Make Healthier Beignets in the Air Fryer

Quick, easy, and healthy air fryer beignets are the best dessert!

When I travel I love getting beignets at local pastry shops or in the airport. However, it’s normally expensive!

You are going to love this recipe as much as we have because the ingredients are healthier, the beignets are less expensive, and it is incredibly tasty!

Ingredients

– ¾ cup warm water – ¼ cup sugar – 1 tablespoon yeast – ½ teaspoon salt – 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature – 1 egg, beaten – ½ cup of milk – 2½-3 cups flour – ¼ cup melted butter – ½ cup powdered sugar

The finishing touch

if you want to dip the beignets in a raspberry sauce, you will need a ¼ cup raspberry jam and 1-2 tablespoons of water.

How to Cook the beignets 

Bake at 350°F/177°C for 6 minutes, turning the beignets at the halfway point.

After the beignets have finished cooking, immediately remove them from the air fryer basket. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with the raspberry dipping sauce.
