How to Dry and Preserve Tomatoes {Plus My FAVORITE Dehydrator}

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: depends on dehydrator (around 6-10 hours)

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Wash tomatoes
  2. Slice tomatoes in half (or quarters if they are the large Roma type tomatoes)
  3. Sprinkle with a bit of Italian seasoning
  4. Toss in a bowl with about a tablespoon of olive oil
  5. Place on dehydrator trays for several hours
  6. Store in an airtight container in the freezer
