You Might Be Addicted To Coupon Crack If…

If this is a normal sight at your breakfast table.

* I’ll admit I’m a total weirdo when it comes to mail in rebates.  I’d rather look at my cereal through a window than forget to cut out the mail in rebate form on a box 🙂

LOL!! I’ve had my share of cut up packaging. And LOTS of taped bottoms.

Your children play store with your expired coupons.
Your children talk about getting free things with coupons!

  • Monica

My kids use to make play money …..now they make play coupons 😉

you might be addicted to coupon crack if your checking this website every 30 min for updates lol!!! ; )

  • I learned after the first MIR Cereal box got tossed by my hubby to cut everything out when I get home from the store!

  • Karma

I cut them immediately too, but I throw away the boxes. They’ll ask, “What kind of cereal is this?” I don’t know, but it was free!

Me too! Hoping for shelves this summer, but until then our ‘stockpile’ is in 18 gal totes! And you can fit way more cereal in a tote WITHOUT the box! So we get surprised sometimes! With 4 kids, somebody will like whatever gets opened and poured into our Rubbermaid cereal boxes! LOL

This really made my day! I’m so glad that I’m not the only one with cereal boxes that look like that! Everyone’s comments make me laugh too…my kids know that we can’t go shopping without coupons so they ask, “Do you have your manufacturer coupons today mom?”. Amazing what a 2 and 4 year old can pick up. The best part, I’m not ashamed to teach them how these great little pieces of paper are like cash and will save us all money. I hope that they see my frugal ways and take a little bit of that financial savvy with them when they leave home. 😉 Thanks for a great blog!

Sonja, have you had any trouble with mailing in more than one Free cereal box. It says right on there one per household. How are you getting more than one rebate back?

      • Angela

The rebates are per flavor or kind I believe, at least that’s the way I read it. I bought the same exact cereal that Mavis pictured and they go to different PO Boxes. I didn’t think to tape up the boxes!! I just threw the bags on our pantry shelf and called that good! 🙂

    LOL….I guess I am …that’s our house too 🙂

Note: Rebate is up to $4.49 per box, per type. I bought mine at Rite-Aid for $4.99 a box thinking free but under a dollar is not too bad (.49 cents plus .44 cent stamp). Wish I would have seen these boxes at my WalMart.
