5 ½ tablespoonsunsalted buttermelted and slightly cooled
½cuplight brown sugar
Preheat the air fryer at 400°F/200°C for 5 minutes.
In a small to medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
In another bowl, whisk melted butter and sugars until combined. Then, add the egg and vanilla and mix well.
Using a rubber spatula, fold dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined; do not over mix.
Fold in the chocolate chips and spread cookie dough into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with the spatula.
Place about 2 tbsp of cookie mix into a 6oz ramekins. Cook at 320°F/160°C for 6-7 minutes (or until dough is almost cooked to your liking), then let the ramekins sit inside the warm air fryer for a couple of minutes to let it finish setting.
Enjoy with your favorite ice cream and topping on top.
Cooking Time Notes
After cooking 6-7 minutes in my air fryer, the dough was still somewhat wet, but we had it sit for several minutes and it was our favorite consistency. If you cook for 9 minutes then let the cookies set, the dough/cookies are pretty dried out (if that is what you love, then cook for up to 9 minutes). Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer. The key to tasty cookies is to let it sit for several minutes before enjoying.
