Brown the ground beef or ground turkey with the onions. Cook the bacon, I personally think it tastes better when the bacon is leaning towards the crunchy side. (You can do this on stovetop or in the air fryer, whatever method you prefer).
Chop the bacon into bite sized pieces.
Drain and wash the mixed chili beans.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onions, bacon, and chili beans. Then stir in the can of pork and beans. Next, stir in the ketchup, mustard, molasses, brown sugar, and water, until everything is combined.
Place the bean mixture in an air fryer silicone pot (or any air fryer safe dish that fits in the air fryer). I was able to put all the beans in the silicone pot, so I recommend this method so you don’t have to cook in batches.
Cook for 15-20 minutes at 380 °F, stirring about every 5 minutes so that the beans cook evenly. Continue cooking until the beans are creamy and cooked to your liking.
