Take the chicken nuggets out of the bag and place them in a single layer in the air fryer. You can season them with salt if you’d like, or toss them with your favorite seasoning blend. I personally prefer no seasoning and to go wild on dips and sauces!
Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. Leave about a half inch of space between them so the air can flow freely.
Set the temperature to 400 °F and the timer for 8 minutes. You don’t have to worry about pre-heating the air fryer. But if you just cooked something else, you might want to reduce the cooking time by a couple of minutes.
When the timer ends, take the nuggets out and turn them over. Put them back in the air fryer for another 4 minutes.
Your chicken nuggets should come out crisp and fully cooked. If you want them to be a little crisper, put them back in for two more minutes. Safe internal temperature of frozen foods is 165 °F
Notes
You don’t want them to burn or get dried out. You can always put them back in to cook a little longer, but if you overcook them, you can’t go back. The best thing is to cook your nuggets for 10-12 minutes total, then cook a little longer if you feel like you want them a little crispier.
