  • I loved your take on it Cathy! Thank you. I can’t believe people are steeling papers out of the news stands. How ridiculous. Come on people…get it together!!!

  • heather

OMG..the stupid uneducated comments on the statesman are so agravating….grrrrr I have just come to the conclusion that you can’t argue with stupid and there is no winning with some people!!! I think people are just jealous they pay retail:-) its gotta make you a little mad when you see a lady walk out with a cart full of groceries and she paid 20.00 and you just spent 50.00 for 1 bag…id be an angry hater too, luckily im smart enough never to pay retail for anyhting!!!

  • okay ~ i just got off the phone with them…you HAVE to get the daily paper if you want ANY amount of papers over ONE, and if you were getting more than one already and you call you have to upgrade then and there or you are stopped. Also they said that they will not hold your sunday paper for less than 4 weeks of papers. So you CANNOT “skip” a sunday with out inserts and extend that deal. they said that they just changed policies to this. for me it was this:

i now get the daily paper and 6 on sunday. i pre-payed for the year and it cost me 192.92

the lady was very adamant that this was the only way anymore. so i think the deal that might have been worked out is now void and these new changes are in place.
