Travel Tip Tuesday…

If your travel plans will be bringing you far away from home, to an unfamiliar place or you just don’t want to carry around a big purse while on vacation… a money belt can be a big help. I personally own the Rick Steves Silk Money Belt. I love it.  There’s plenty of room  for your passport, credit cards, cash and id.  I never leave home without it 🙂

Woot!! So much better than carrying a purse!!! Gonna have to get me one of those!!

  • This looks so much better (and more comfortable) than the polyester pouch necklace I had to wear under my shirt when I went on a high school trip to Europe. And it looks so much less bulky than a regular fanny pack. Now I want to travel ;-).

oh man! This brings back memories. over 20 years ago my girlfiend and I backpacked thru Europe with Rick Steve’s “Europe through the back door” as our guide. We totally had one of these each. It was much more diff then….We carried enough cash to get us thru the first day in each country we visited. it was all in the pouch. 6 cuntries in all… Deuch marks, Greek Dracma etc….

Each Sat, my hubby and I come together at 6:30 to “travel” with Rick Steves. I love his show.

These are the best – especially at amusement parks.

Have you been to Rick Steve’s travel store in Edmonds? They offer free travel classes. My family took an intro to the German language there almost 2 years ago. We were signed up for a cooking class but had to cancel because one of us was sick. It was a fun place.
