Travel the World with Little Passports!

Get excited about learning with Little Passports!!

My kids’ favorite part of the afternoon is hearing the mail being delivered because they are always eager to see what has come. To their excitement they recently got their first box of Little Passports in the mail and it was filled with the start to many learning adventures!

Our family is always up for a new adventure; whether to the mountains, the beach, or just for a drive we love to explore new things and create memories together. So, when I heard about Little Passports I was excited to be able share in these virtual trips to places we may not get to visit in person! I have 4 kiddos, and my oldest two just finished up second grade, so they were eager to check out the suitcase that had been delivered. Inside was an invitation from Sam & Sophia (the kids that are traveling) inviting us to go on learning adventures with them. While my two older kids were able to understand and grasp the concept of Little Passports, the little kids were also anxious to play with the suitcase and carry it around with them on their own adventures!

Some of the things in the suitcase include:

  • A colorful and clear World wall map
  • A Travel passport just for the kids! I LOVE this idea, and it got us to talking about what a passport is for. I even dug out my passport to show the kids the stamps from a few of my own trips overseas.
  • Fun stickers, an activity sheet, and access to online games and activities – these were great and fun for the kids.

Now that they have seen the introductory suitcase, my kids are excited to see what will come in the months ahead. They areeager to take trips to places worldwide like Brazil, Japan, France, Egypt, Australia, Mexico, South Africa, and many more!! After the first month the kids can anticipate getting new and exciting things in their boxes. Some of the things my kids are looking forward to are:

  • An adventure letter – love the idea of making the visit personal with the kids!
  • Fun souvenirs – everyone LOVES souvenirs!
  • Stickers for your child’s suitcase, passport, and map
  • Photos from that country’s sites – great way to incorporate Social Studies and Geography learning into everyday exploring and adventure!
  • Online games and activities in our Boarding Zone

LP2There are two options to choose from for the Little Passports programs. The one we were able to explore was the World Edition which is aimed at children ages 5-10. There is also a USA edition which is more geared for kids 7-12 years old. Once my kids have been able to visit places around the world, I am looking forward to being able to take a closer look at some of the important places around our own country, and it would be fun to start planning and saving for a real trip as well!

Overall, Little Passports is a great way for our family to incorporate some of our home-school learning into practical and applicable learning opportunities!! And with school on break for the summer you can keep all the kids busy with the fun and educational activities included in the Little Passports subscription
