This is fraudulent! I went and ordered some…my reciept said i ordered two sets so I went to call customer service and the number was to a law office and then i went to the website that the receipt email came from and it was an adult toy and food website. Grrr Im soooooo mad!

Wow! The Frugals wouldn’t be promoting something they thought to be fraudulent. I wouldn’t worry too much about this. It’s quite common for novelty items to be marketed by “toy” companies and the distributors are often one and the same. Your receipt should say 2 because it is a buy one get one sale. The number is a calling service used by many legitimate as seen on television products/ other businesses. With and encrypted website as evidenced by the presence of https at the beginning of the url your information should be safe AND if you do have issues you can always file a claim with your card company or bank.

It charged me for two sets….the total was almost 50 bucks. I already called and canceled my CC since my acct wasnt charged yet. When i called the customer service office i started out by telling them what i had ordered and the lady on the other line told me that I had the wrong number and that i was talking to a law office. I tried everyway possible to contact them and never could. I wasnt mad at you guys…just mad in general and freaking out a bit cuz we dont have a lot of money right now.

You don’t need a mold to make these. Bake a cake according to the directions in a 9×13 pan. Let it cool. Crumble the cake in a bowl. Add 3/4 of a can of frosting. Mold into balls. Stick in the freezer for about twenty minutes. Add the sticks, and then dip in melted chocolate/candy, etc.

I second this! These are yummy! And I would think a ball of just cake would fall apart too easily, this would be a lot easier for kids to work with!

I THIRD this….the “come on” to traditional cake pops is the texture of the actual pop which includes the frosting….using regular cake would be boring I think…my KIDS (8&5) LOVED mixing up the cake and the frosting! FUN!!!!
