I just bought flight tickets from Boise to Sacramento for $80/person roundtrip!!! This deal is awesome!

I’m not seeing where you could get flight, no hotel for those same prices…maybe you have to get a hotel too??

Cathy, you don’t need to book a hotel room too. Just make sure the dates are within the limits specified, and be aware that the rates don’t necessarily apply to all flights. You may find Fridays and Sundays to be higher, or you may find direct flights higher priced than connecting flights.

I got it thank you! 🙂 I was on the wrong page LOL! Does anyone know if it’s possible to change your dates later? My husband has a trip to Orlando around this time but we don’t know the specific dates yet. It’s always in October (with in the time limit).

Nevermind I found that info too 🙂

Cally, one of the reasons I love Southwest Air so much is because it is so easy to change your flights if your plans change. No hassle at all. Just go online and pull up your confirmation number, and pick a new flight. They will charge you for just the difference in far, with no penalty or fee or anything.

Bear in mind that your rates may go up because in order to get these promotional rates, you have to book your flights by tomorrow (6/23/11). So down the road, if you find out that the dates of your tickets don’t work for you, you can easily change them but you will probably be charged for the rates in effect at the time you re-book. I am not 100% sure that you wont’ still qualify for the promo rate, but that’s how these deals have worked in the past for me.

If you just go to http://www.southwest.com/ it is on there home page, no need to book hotel too. I was confused at first too.

Just think how great of a deal this could have been if you bought southwest gift cards at Albertson’s last week with the $100 and $20 free groceries.

  • This airline has grown to become a big fat dominator in the western parts of the USA… east is rather JetBlue-dominated.
Funny how they slowly grow and apparently split the market…
