Salisbury Steak

Salisbury steak

This crock pot meal was another keeper, and a great use of 2 of the 40 lbs of ground beef I just bought!  I like to buy chicken and ground beef through Zaycon, as I then always have meat on hand.  I had kept about 6 lbs fresh in my fridge, and wanted to make some room, so I found this recipe.  Oh my was it good!  After quickly making the patties and browning them in a skillet, you then let your crock pot take over.  So easy!  We served them with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes.  Yum!

Serves 8 for about $1.20/serving
