Food for Santa’s Reindeer!

white chocolate peppermint chex

One of my children brought a bag of delicious “reindeer food” home from Sunday school last week. I tried a little bite and it was YUMMY! So was made our batch to share with all of you.

This White Chocolate Peppermint Chex is soooo good! You can not stop eating it! Super easy to make.  Only 3 ingredients needed. My kids are excited to make more reindeer food and want to leave it out on Christmas night.

For easy clean up use a silicone baking mat!

Here’s a deal on the one I have:

White Chocolate Peppermint Chex

  • 5 Cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 10 oz White Chocolate (bark or chips)
  • 3 regular sized Peppermint Candy Canes

  1. 1. Measure Chex into a gallon size Ziploc bag.
  2. 2. Melt chocolate in the microwave, 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each heating, until smooth.
  3. 3. Crush peppermint candy canes. We put them in a sandwich size Ziploc and crushed them with a rolling pin. We also considered putting them in the blender.
  4. 4. Mix candy into chocolate. Pour over Chex Cereal. Close bag and shake.
  5. 5. Pour mixture onto a baking sheet lines with a baking mat or parchment paper.
  6. 6. Allow 20-30 minutes to set up.
  7. Enjoy!!!
