Tuscan Grilled Cheese

Get your bread, butter or shortening, Challenge Butter Tuscan Style, and Cheese.

Make sure you preheat your George Foreman Grill or Sandwich Press

Spread a thin layer of butter or shortening on the “outside” of the bread.  You could also spread the Challenge Butter Tuscan Style on the outside and skip this next step if you wanted too… but I love the stronger flavor it gives these cheese putting it on the inside.

Butter the inside of the bread with a light layer of Challenge Butter Tuscan Style… you can either butter one or both pieces.

Add a couple of slices of cheese. (If you want, add some ham or other thinly sliced meat in between the cheese pieces.Make sure you leave a boarder around the bread for the cheese to melt into.

Place sandwiches on grill, and close.  Grill 3-4 minutes.

Cut and enjoy, or leave whole!

If the cheese melts onto the grill, wipe off immediately, with a bunched paper towel, the grill scrapper or something similar.

    That Tuscan-style butter makes the best grilled sandwiches ever! We tried it back when that butter first came out and was super cheap, and we love it so much that it’s hard to go back to plain ‘ole butter. Havent’ tried them on the George Foreman grill yet — I’ll have to do that.
