Toffee Apple Dip
If you are looking for a delicious and easy recipe then look no further! Fruit dips are one of my absolute favorites and this one definitely does not disappoint. Plus, it is much different then most of the other fruit dips out there so it always provides a little extra variety for your gathering! One of my favorite things about this recipe is that I usually have almost all of these ingredients already on hand, which means even when my kids remember last minute that they are supposed to bring something for a class party I can whip this right up! I will say that if you get a chance to make it ahead and let the flavors meld together it makes it even more yummy.
Our son loves to eat this with Granny Smith apples and our daughters prefer to enjoy it with Fiji apples so you may want to provide a variety if you aren’t quite sure which ones to choose. You can even serve with some apple chips to give it a little extra crunch. This also works perfectly in a lunch box or as an afternoon snack. The kids always think they are just getting something sweet and I’m happy to sneak a little extra fruit into their diet! When I make individual packages for my family to take on the go I just slice my apples and then dip them in lemon or lime juice to keep them from browning. If you don’t have lemon or lime juice you could also use lemon-lime soda to keep your apples fresh! Since we are always on the move one of my biggest time savers is to go ahead and spoon the dip into small snack size containers to portion it out which saves me time when it comes to packing them up. Just be warned this dip is delicious and will definitely go fast so you may want to just double your batch from the beginning!

thanks for the ingredients!
I have made this dip before and it is amazing! I took it for a potluck at work and people were scraping down the bowl and asking for the recipe. It’s a winner!
