Stuffed Green Peppers

1 lb. hamburger
1/4 c. uncooked rice
6 green peppers
1 tsp. salt
1 c. canned tomatoes

Wash rice and add to hamburger, add seasoning. Stuff green peppers loosely and place in covered saucepan with 1/2 cup water. Simmer 30 minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer 30 minutes longer or until peppers are removed. Cook tomatoes until thick and serve as a sauce over the peppers.
