Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour divided
- 1 Pkg Ranch Dressing Mix
- ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
- 4 boneless pork loin chops 4 ounces each
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 14.5 ounce can chicken broth
Instructions
- In a large resealable plastic bag, combine 1/2 cup flour, Seasoned Salt and Ranch Dressing Mix.
- Add pork chops, one at a time, and shake to coat.
- In a fry pan, heat 2 tablespoons canola oil and brown pork chops about 2 minutes on each side.
- Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker.
- Place remaining flour in a small bowl; whisk in broth until smooth.
- Pour over chops.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until meat is tender.
- Remove pork to a serving plate and keep warm.
- Whisk cooking liquid until smooth; serve with pork.

Hi, I am making your slow cooker ranch pork chops. The recipe calls for seasoned salt and oil but there is no mention in the instructions what to do with it. I hope you don’t have to brown the chops in the oil before adding them to the crockpot because I just started them. Please help!
Oh no, sorry about that. I fixed the recipe. I have also omitted both of those before and it turned out fine.
How would this be done in an instant pot?
I’d follow all the instructions but put it in an instant pot instead and cook for about 30 minutes. Test it out and if you want your meat a little more tender, cook it for about 10 more minutes. Let me know how it goes!
