Secret to Perfect Cookies & More

My Tip for Perfect Cookies…

It helps a lot to have a FAB recipe & ingredients, of course. It also helps if the cookies bake evenly and are an appealing round shape. I have actually had people comment about my cookies being perfectly shaped & sized. 🙂

I use my 1 Tbsp scoop for drop cookies all the time. They come out easily, with less mess, and shaped perfectly! You can keep the portions in check and baking times will be more consistent with the uniform sizes.

You can use these handy scoops for anything that you need to portion or ball…

  • cookies
  • ice cream
  • meatballs
  • muffins
  • cupcakes
  • truffles
  • vegetable purees
  • rice
  • pet food, etc…

There are a variety of scoop sizes. The 1 Tbsp size is ideal for cookies and the larger scoops would be great for meatballs and portioning muffins. Check out these awesome portioning scoops here.

Interested in the silicone baking mats? I have used both Silpat and MIU brands with great results! Check them out here.

If you’re wondering about the delightful cookies I am making in the pictures above, check back on Sunday to see the recipe I use for Trail Mix Cookies. In the meantime, this scoop will come in handy on a bunch of recipes we have already posted…

You can often get the mats on sale at Fred Meyer for cheaper than anywhere else. I got mine for $12.

That is a great price! I found my MIU brand ones on sale at Costco for only about $5 each, but I haven’t seen them there since. 🙁
