Cinnamon Butter Recipe 1

Who doesn’t love butter?!  Seriously though I am from the South and we literally put butter in just about every single dish we make.  Have ever wondered if there is anything better then soft butter on a warm loaf of bread or a warm dinner roll?  The answer is YES!  Honestly though the only thing better then soft warm butter is soft warm cinnamon butter.  I will often double or even triple this recipe to make sure I have plenty stored away in the refrigerator because my entire family absolutely loves this!  My favorite way to store this is in mason jars because you need to use an air tight container, plus they come in every size imaginable and even cute colors.  If you don’t have a mason jar you you could also use a tub with a lid or even an empty spaghetti sauce or mayonnaise jar that you clean out to recycle.  When it comes time to make a new batch I just use my stand mixer to blend this together quickly, but you can obviously use a hand mixer or even mix together with a fork if that is what you have on hand.  There is nothing quite like using this smooth and sweet cinnamon butter on a loaf of bread or on your favorite dinner rolls fresh out of the oven.  In addition to using this on bread or a dinner roll I also use it when I prepare my sweet potatoes.  There is something so delicious about baking a sweet potato and then using this delicious cinnamon butter with some marshmallows.  I also have used it when making sweet potato casseroles to give it just an extra bit of sweetness.  This recipe has such a great texture and melts perfectly while having just the right amount of sweetness.  This is definitely one you will find yourself going back to over and over again!

Cinnamon Butter Recipe 2

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup sweet and condensed milk, chilled
  • 1/2 tsp corn syrup
  • 1/2-1 full tsp ground cinnamon to taste
  • 1 Tbs. honey

  1. Place all ingredients into a medium size mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
  2. Serve right away with hot rolls or fresh bread (I actually prefer to chill about 30 minutes first, but you don't need to).
  3. Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
