Pecan Cheesecake Bars Recipe

This Pecan Cheesecake Bar recipe has a crumb crust topped with a cream cheese mixture and crumble topping.  Finish it off with chocolate, caramel and whipped toppings for elegant and delicious added touch!

Pecan Cheesecake bars

These delicious bars combine two of my dessert favorites: cheesecake and Pecan Pie. Enjoy cheesecake in the form of an easy bar with layers of caramel, rich topping and crunchy nuts. … Sprinkle with reserved crumb topping, pecans and toppings.  I love it when a dessert is easy to make and even easier to transport.  This one would be the perfect dish to make ahead and keep in the refrigerator until time for dessert Thanksgiving Day!  This is a favorite family recipe that everyone loves.

The shortbread crust is quick to bake while you make the filling.  Then when you take the crust out you immediately spread the cream cheese filling out and add the remaining crust topping.  Bake and cool before serving.  It is always yummy to add a drizzle of chocolate topping, caramel and whipped topping for a fancy touch.  Or just eat them plain for a finger dessert!
