Halloween Treats for the Whole Family!

Oreo Spiders

Halloween is a great time to make treats with the kids! These Oreo Spiders and Chocolate Pretzel Webs are really easy to make, so it would be perfect to make these for a classroom party, for while you’re carving pumpkins, or even just as a family fun night and then to take to work with you the next day! This could even be a fun project for a family friendly event by prepping all of the ingredients (In the past I have used a snack baggie for individual frosting tubes.) and putting them into a baggie.

To make these I used the double stuff Oreos so they would hold the pretzels better. My kids thought that these were an awesome treat. We could not decide if we likes the spiders eyes with the pupils or with out so we did two of each for you to decide which way you like the spider eyes. Don’t forget pretzel coupons and Oreo coupons for this recipe!

These Oreo Spiders are really easy to make! Super fun treat for the Halloween party at school!

How to Make Oreo Spiders

Super fun treat for the Halloween party at school! Oreo Spiders and Chocolate Pretzel Spider Webs!

How to Make Pretzel Spider Webs

Tips:

  • I tried doing this with a thinner stream of chocolate and it made it too fragile, so I widened the hole in my piping bag for a thicker chocolate like you see above. The thicker chocolate is more ideal. The only reason this one got broken a little is because I tried to move it before it was totally set up.
  • Using the silpat is the secret to keeping the chocolate from sticking to the surface and breaking. You can also use wax or parchment paper! But I love using my silpat or silicone mat!
