Lucky On A Stick
{Pin This}
Ingredients
- 3 Tbs butter
- 10 oz marshmallows
- 6 cups rice krispies
- Green food coloring
- Candy sticks (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Directions
First, line your pan/cookie sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Then, stir in the marshmallows and melt completely. Just before the marshmallows have melted, add green food coloring. Once the tinted marshmallows are smooth and melted, remove them from the heat and stir in the Rice Krispies cereal. Then, smooth out the mixture into a baking sheet or pan with a buttered or cooking oil-sprayed spoon or spatula.
Finally, you can either use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out 3 or 4 hearts to shape into a shamrock or a shamrock cookie cutter to cut out the krispie treats.
My kiddos had fun helping me add the candy sticks and sprinkles!
