Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan (NOT the stuff in the green can) + 1 Tbsp more for topping
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp parsley for garnish, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer at 350°F at least 5 minutes while you put the recipe together
- Spray a 6" pizza pan with avocado oil
- Mix all ingredients together, and spread into the pan
- Place in air fryer basket and air fry at 350°F for 3 minutes, checking after 2 minutes for top to get well golden browned, rotating pan as needed to be evenly browned.
- Take it out and cool in the pan for 2 minutes while you let air fryer stay at 350 heating.
- Flip it over in the pan carefully, with a spatula or silicone turner. Put back in fryer for another 2-3 mins till top is golden, rotating as needed each minute.
- Sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese, then fry for about 2 more minutes at 350°F till the top is melted the way you want it. Top with parsley.
- Cool in pan several minutes, then serve from the pan or transfer to a plate. As it sits it cools more and become more bread like.
