Frugal Pasta Salad
This recipe was sent to us from FAB FruGal Chelsea! This is a frugal and easy one for 4th of July BBQs:
1 lb pasta, cooked, cooled and drained (I used Ronzoni Smart Taste rotini)
3 tomatoes on the vine, diced
1/4 yellow onion, chopped
a bit of celery, chopped
3/4-1lb cheese, cubed (I used Tilamook Vintage White Cheddar)
1/2 bottle Italian dressing (I used Wishbone Balsamic Vinaigrette)
Mix it all together! Takes me less than 20 minutes to make…frugal in cost, and in time!!

I love pasta salad! And the best part (besides the taste) is that you often have most of the ingredients–like the pasta and salad dressing–on hand already!
Haha! I just was going to make some pasta salad because I have a ton of stockpiled pasta!
To make it more frugal, you can make Italian dressing or balsamic vinagrette. I found that virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lime juice, minced garlic, a little dijon mustard, works great!
