Crock Pot Pot Roast Freezer Meal

I am all about freezer meals that involve little to no prep time.  This is one of them.  You can easily throw 5 or 6 of these meals together in 15 minutes!  Just chop the celery, onions, and peel the garlic.  Add everything to the bag, and freeze!

Freezer Meal Recipes: Pot Roast

Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 3-10 hours
Yield: 4 lbs | Serves: 12 servings


  • 1 bag baby carrots
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 6 cloves garlic, whole
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pack brown gravy mix
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 4lb pot roast


  1. To Prepare Freezer Meals

  2. Combine mushroom soup and brown gravy mix in gallon size freezer bag
  3. Add pot roast to bag, then add the rest of the ingredients.
  4. To cook

  5. Defrost meal overnight
  6. Cook in crock pot for 8-10 hours on low OR in a dutch oven for 3-4 hours at 350 Degrees!
  7. If you cook it in the dutch oven, be sure to check it about 2/3 of the way through to make sure there is enough liquid.
