Preparing the Crockpot Cream Cheese Chicken for the Freezer
Preparing this crockpot cream cheese chicken for the freezer is really easy. There are only 2 (or 3) ingredients that you have to actually freeze:
- The chicken breasts – Put these in a large Ziploc freezer bag
- The butter – Put the butter in a smaller Ziploc freezer bag, and then put that bag into the bag with the chicken
- (Optional) The Italian seasoning – You can either freeze the seasoning inside the same bag you put the butter in, or you can store it in your pantry
The butter and the seasoning have to be in their own bag because you don’t want them to get all soggy once the chicken thaws.
For the other ingredients, the cream of chicken soup can stay in your pantry, and you can keep the cream cheese in your fridge.

I just made this for our family and it was pretty tasty. I added saute mushrooms and green onions. Served over egg noodles. Tasty like beef stroganoff.
This was really good!
