Cooking From Your Pantry: A Tribute To Our Moms and Their Delicious Recipes!

The Starving Students’ Cookbook is the cookbook my mom gave to me way back in 1997 when I left for college. I was a clueless cook and remember calling her to ask how to bake a potato or cook corn on the cob. While my mom did not love too cook (but, man was she a good baker!), she did pass down so many delicious recipes that I have in turn shared with my own children. Some of my favorite memories from childhood involve us packed around our kitchen table. Today we share a few of the recipes our mothers have passed down to us. Enjoy!

Becky: Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Monica: Recipes From Her Grandmother and Mother

Dawn: One Pan Skillet Lasagna

Kearna: Cinnamon Twists

Melanie: Boston Cream Pie (Plus a secret to making boxed cakes delish!)

What are some favorite recipes your mother shared with you growing up? If you have a fabulous stockpile recipe you would like to submit, email us at fabulesslyfrugal {at} gmail {dot} com.
