Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo

This is what I’m making for dinner today!

Ingredients:

Linguine Noodles (as many as you would usually cook to feed your family)
Fresh or Frozen Broccoli, as much as desired
3 Chicken Breasts
2 Jars Alfredo Sauce
Parmesan Cheese

I don’t have an official recipe for this, it’s just something I like to make.  So as far as quantities go, sorry I can’t be more specific.  For 2 adults and 2 children, this will feed us twice.

Cook each ingredient on its own: noodles, broccoli, and chicken.  Once the noodles are cooked and drained, add cooked broccoli, cooked and diced chicken, and Alfredo sauce.  Stir it all up, let the sauce get hot, and serve.  I like to add Parmesan cheese to mine but it’s optional.

    Me too, but I have no sauce, I’ll have to make a quick white sauce and add cheese.

    This is what we had for dinner too-except without chicken and added garlic breadcrumbs on top.

    Here is how I make homemade alfredo sauce-
    saute1/4 cup minced onions and1 tsp minced garlic in 2 tbs. butter. lightly sprinkle with some flour. Then add 1 cup chicken broth or stock..simmer for 5 minutes. Then add 2 cups half and half (I just use mik) and enough grated and shredded paremesian cheese to your desired thickness-garnish with chopped green onions.
