This pie combines layers of chocolate crust, fresh bananas and banana cream filling make a stunning black-and-white combination for this comforting no-bake pie. Mixing melted chocolate with the cookie crumbs can produces a crust that becomes crisp when chilled.  The very quick and simplified version of this recipe is to buy a chocolate crumb pie crust, line the bottom with sliced bananas, top with vanilla pudding made from a mix according to the package and top with wipped topping.

  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, divided
  • 1 1/4 cups Chocolate Cookie Crumbs Crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 large bananas, sliced
  • 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
  • 1-3/4 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping


  1. MELT 4 Tbsp. butter; pour into medium bowl. Stir in chocolate cookie crumbs and sugar. Reserve 2 Tbsp. for later use; press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Top with bananas.
  3. BEAT pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 min.; pour over bananas. Refrigerate 4 hours. Top with COOL WHIP and reserved crumb mixture just before serving.
