Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Peppers…
Need an appetizer for your next get together? How about jalapeno peppers w/ bacon? Sound difficult? Well they’re not! Here’s the directions for a sure fire crowd pleaser .
Blend 8oz of cream cheese with 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.
Slice 12-14 (or more depending on the size of the pepper) in half lengthwise and remove seeds. Be sure and wear gloves for this part 🙂
Then proceed to stuff peppers with cream cheese filling.
You can cook them the way the are…
Or wrap 1/2 slices of bacon around the filled peppers and secure with a toothpick. Bake at 300 degrees for about 1 hour on a rack set over a sided baking sheet (to catch the drips) or until the cheese starts to bubble and brown just a little bit.
If I were you I’d grab your pepper before they hit the plate… because once they do… they’ll go quick!

If you add a Little smokie on top of the cream cheese before you wrap with bacon it’s even better!
Brilliant! Love eating these hate paying for them, as Rachael Ray would say- YUMMO!
I pre-cook the bacon – just so it’s mostly cooked, not fully cooked – then wrap around the pepper – just less time in the oven
They are also great on the bbq!
I tried this on the grill they were done within minutes they were a hit at my labor day party going to make them again for football parties
