Through a unique process created by Bell Plantation that does not involve the use of any chemicals; over 90% of the fat is removed from the peanut. Essentially the oil is squeezed out of roasted peanuts and what remains is a peanut powder. The resulting all-natural product  dissolves easily for savory applications- smoothies, cakes, muffins, Asian noodle sauces, breading and crusts. I have tried this exact peanut butter. It’s very tasty! We mostly add it into our shakes/smoothies for added protein. You can also mix the powder with water for ‘regular’ peanut butter. The consistency is a little less smooth than full fat peanut butter, but if you’re mixing it for a pb&j, it would still work well.

Discovered it while doing Weight Watchers! It’s fabby! I can have Peanut butter again! You just add the amount of water indicated to the powder.
I make PB&Js for my daughter, and if I crave that comfort food I use the PB2 and make a sandwich for myself too.
Have also used it to make rice krispie peanut butter bars for waaaaay less fat. I have nothing but good stuff to say 🙂
Non-weight-watching husband can’t get enough of the chocolate version.

  • Margaret

I don’t need another food item to crave so I haven’t tried the Chocolate!

This is SUPER yummy! We put it in a refrigerator oatmeal recipe we found on Pinterest and it makes a super fast, easy, and healthy breakfast we can eat on the go.

  • Steph

I’ve tried it when I was on my diet. When you are cutting back on calories & crave peanutbutter it’s a great substitute for the real thing. I highly recommend it.

Does anyone know what the lifespan is on this? Does it last longer than regular PB?

  • Margaret

My current container includes a “packed” date and an “exp” date. According to that it’s got a year shelf life.

So I just ordered this but from the product website. It was actually cheaper.

  • Tricia

The PB2 chocolate is great. I put it in my green smoothie every morning.
