Other Mothers Boise FREEBIE FRIDAY!

Can I just say how much we ADORE the owners of Other Mothers in Boise?

They are two of the most kind-hearted people we have ever encountered.

What they are doing on the busiest shopping day of the year just exemplifies what this season is all about. Instead of focusing on all of the potential profits to be made, they are focusing on giving to others.

With that in mind, please pass on this gracious offer to those you know of who might need a helping hand this year.

    Wahoooooooo!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
Thankyou for posting this. I have a baby due in few weeks and could really use some winter clothes for my other kids. I like the fact the store hours are prego-lady friendly too!

I went to Other Mothers this morning (the only black friday shopping I decided to do) to see if I could get a few toys for my son. I actually felt bad for the owners. There were tons of people in line and people completely took advantage of the giveaway. People literally grabbed a pack n play and shoved as much stuff as they could possibly fit in it and wheeled it all out…or brought their own giant trash bags, and as the workers emptied a bag of clothing onto the table they would shove as much into the trash bags as could fit without even knowing what they were grabbing…or take a table full of goods into the corner and sit and sort through it, then bring back what they didn’t want. There was a small room with extra items that the employees were bringing out as tables were emptied, and people literally crowded around the door of the room and the employees could hardly get in and out. I ended up leaving with almost nothing (no toys) but was there for an hour just watching people. The manager actually stood up on a chair and pleaded with people to fill their red bag and exit to give others a chance to get things they needed…nobody listened. It was sad to see such terrible behavior when that store was doing such a good deed for the community.

Oh my goodness. That is so sad to hear! So sad that people feel like their situations are bad enough that they have to behave that way. They failed to realized that there are so many others in need as well. 🙁 What a bummer.
